A crying shame
My husband met a soldier who is on leave. He is a young white guy from Mississippi. He told my husband that his brother shot 2 white men dead when he caught them in the act of hanging a black man. He said the men were drunk. The black man told him after he was cut down from the tree that the men didn’t take too kindly to the fancy car he was driving.
The brother did not serve time in jail. Guess how long ago this was?
