New Math you say?

I would like to present you all with an equation.

Add - “one 7 year old boy (and is mother) who last saw his father once for a 3 week period when he was 1″

and - “a month old filing for child support when social services finally tracked him down”

with - “a loud, angry knock on mother’s door 2 weeks ago late at night with other hand waving the citation that had mother’s address on it”

Divided by - “Court date and paternity test scheduled for December 5th”

Tell me what you arrive at….I’ll wait.

OK…let me tell you what I got: “Negro leave from in front of my door AND I’m calling the cops now…see you in court”

However, apparently the answer is:

“THE BABY DADDY PRACTICALLY LIVING IN THE HOUSE WITH THE CHILD AND MOTHER FOR THE PAST WEEK AND A HALF”

How did I arrive at this answer you ask?

Well, apparently buying Clorox, paper towels, and cheese goes a long way nowadays…

Oh, it gets better. The baby daddy states that once the results are in and IF he is actually the father, there will be a lot more where the above came from.

OK, I have a spelling test for you now:

How do you spell, “this situation is going to emotionally traumatize the boy whatever way this turns out because once it’s established that the man is the father, the child will wonder why he was chilling in the house for weeks and no one told him and if he’s not the father…naw, he’s the daddy…kid looks just like the loser”

The above is spelled ‘THERAPY”

What did you get?

Family, family, family…

Still here…

Just a lot going on. Everyone’s ok praise God but I am in a blog-rut. I did start a new job today…I know, on a Friday! Anyway, all went well…we’ll see. It’s a quarter to nine and I think I am going to bed! I am still reading your blogs while I muster up some energy or inspiration.

Oh something funny. I was being introduced to a new co-worker while getting a tour of the staff breakroom/cafeteria area. The person I was meeting was getting some chips from the vending machine. The person walking me around says, “oh, this is “Jane” and as you can see, this is where you can get your junk food…” Jane looked like oh no she didn’t! I guess it didn’t help that Jane appears morbidly obese.

Stupid Breast Cancer

I went to the supermarket last night to pick up some last minute dinner items. You know how at checkout, the cashier will ask if you’d like to make a donation to some cause? Well I was asked if I’d like to donate something to breast cancer research. Very politely, I said, “no, not at this time”. As I was gathering up my bags, the cashier asked the lady behind me in line how she was doing. The lady responded, “just fine young lady…and I would like to donate to breast cancer research”. I just turned and looked at her and chuckled.

I am just as much a proponent for breast cancer awareness as the next person. People get on my nerves with their holier than thou attitudes!
