I cried…so weird
I’ve always known that I get emotional with certain movies. I’ve cried at all the movies one would expect. However, even I think I’ve gone too far. To put this in perspective, I cried a lot during The N.otebook…like most people who saw it. However, this movie I watched on Saturday brought on the waterworks like you would not believe….like I could not believe. I cried more during this movie than I did with The N.otebook. I think it was a combination of nostalgia and …I guess that was it. Anyway, it was Roc.ky Bal.boa!!!!! When he was reminiscing (sp) about….nevermind I don’t want to give anything away. It really surprised me that I was as shaken up as I was. I was sitting around my little dvd player looking like a bloody fool!
Please tell me any movies that had you cried at or touched you in a way that probably wasn’t intended by the writer/director? Like, were you the only one who rooted for The Term.inator…I don’t know.

Assalamalaikum…
lol………lol……cried really?

Assalaamu alaikum, Safa!
I just came over to your blog to drop you a line as you suggested over at Muslimah In Training’s blog for anyone who is interested in daleel from a reliable scholar regarding it being halal to eat things containing ingredients whose origins were pork, but through the process of chemical alteration it is no longer considered pork. Whew. What a mouthful! LOL.
I’m sorry, I don’t know your email or I would have emailed you for this request…you can email me, inshaAllah. Jazakallahkhair.
p.s. can’t think of any movies at the moment that I cried in where it wasn’t intended!

I have never watched that movie, but i have heard the legend of how it makes grown women cry… Iranian movies usually make me a bit depressed like Lelia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leila_%28film%29

Salaams Sis:
I cried at “The Way We Were” with Redford and Streisand.
I could relate to her character not being good enough to fit in the Redford social circle. They came from two different worlds, yet they loved each other so much.
