DC in Pink and Green
My Sorority held it’s Centennial Boule (convention) last week in DC (founded at Howard Univ in DC). I haven’t been active for a few years but I was still happy to see so many Sorors assembled right in my backyard! I was able to catch up with soooo many Sorors from my undergrad chapter as well as the grad chapter I was in. I even saw Sorors who pledged me and my Sands from neigboring schools so many years ago…well 1992 seems like so many years ago. Many already knew I was Muslim so it wasn’t a big shock. For some, it took a while for them to adjust LOL!!!
Anyway, here is a link to some pics of the weekend. Just cut and paste the link in your browser. 22 thousand is said to have registered, about that many Sorors were in DC that didn’t register. It was madness…in a good way.
