We’re looking into buying a foreclosure also. Would you say the effort was worth it? I’m just so afraid of getting someone else’s mess…but if the price is right, you never know.

I remember those. My mom (a heaaaavy chain smoker) gave them to me when I was little and I wanted to be like her. I started smoking when I was 17 (I always said I never would, but you know how things go) and quit 3 years later. I honestly think those play cigs+my mom’s example actually taught me how to smoke.

That’s my long-winded way of saying I wouldn’t let my kids have them. But I don’t yet have children, so I might not have the best opinion.

I can’t remember the gum ones but I do remember the hard candy cigs. Just for play or not I still don’t like the ideal, yeah um no it just sends the wrong message.

When you drive through the really shi shi poo poo areas of my city, the homes don’t have blinds or curtains. It’s like rich people think they don’t need them. You can literally see straight through the homes.

Hi Safa,
It has been a while since I’ve left a comment though I have dropped in to catch up on you and yours…the post about the power outage was priceless

I feel you so much on this post, and if truth be told, fear of life in my family after my Grandmother (heaven forbid) is no longer here is what drives me to try to bring my family together whenever I can. I know even now while she still is amongst us, that should she ever not be here, it would change everything.

Too troubling to even think about, so I’m going to go find my happy place now Take care!
